The Paisley Tower in Mississauga, Ontario, is a modern 10-storey residential development that exemplifies the innovative application of precast concrete construction. Designed by Fryett Turner Architects Inc. and completed in November 2023, this project meets the growing demand for urban living spaces with its 82 spacious units featuring 1, 2, and 3-bedroom layouts. The building's precast concrete walls, hollow-core slabs, and balconies ensure durability and efficient construction. The integration of large windows floods interiors with natural light, while the sleek facade enhances the urban aesthetic. Despite the challenges of a constrained site, the project leveraged a crawler crane for efficient installation, highlighting a commitment to both precision and innovation.
Paisley Tower includes a range of resident amenities, such as a gym, lounge, and party room, alongside thoughtfully designed outdoor green spaces. An above-ground parking structure constructed with precast concrete incorporates both indoor and outdoor EV charging stations, emphasizing sustainability. The project utilized advanced precast products, including over 150,000 square feet of walls and slabs, contributing to a gross floor area of 17,910.7 square meters. With its sustainable design, modern features, and high-quality construction, Paisley Tower is a prime example of contemporary urban development.
